Is your boyfriend Japanese and Hawaiian? Tako is Japanese. Well, if he is always cold... you could call him anu, which means cold in Hawaiian. A name in Hawaiian is very sacred and it carries mana (power) within it. But, as long as it's only a nickname you can call him something that you are fond of him for.
