Hypothetically, would you sell your pet if you could name your price?

What would the price be?

Assume your pet would be well looked after by a new owner.

Hypothetically, would you sell your pet if you could name your price?
At first my reaction was a "NO!", but then I realized I wasn't actually giving it thought.

When I think about it, I only start even considering it if it was $20 million, and even then, all I think of is, "I'd be able to make her(my cat)a safe, outdoor run!". So to answer your question, no, I love my cat wayy to much :).

interesting question though.
Reply:Once you own a Pet, its YOUR'S for Life, i know some circumstances such as fire can force you do give up your pet, as you can't find a rental to house it in,

there are other acceptable reasons;

owner's moved into etirement village,

Owner sadly passed away.

owners lost their family home %26amp; had nowhere to take their cat.

Not good enough reason-Most likely someone who say these REALLY DOESN'T want the cat or dog or other pet in the 1st place! I know some of these are true in some cases, but most time I don't think so.

1. Million Dollar if you give me your pet-This I would say if someone said this to me would be SCAM big TIME!

2. owner could no longer look after them.

3. owners could no longer care for them.

4.owners could no longer afford to keep a pet.

5.moving overseas

6.owners were moving

7.Meg was brought into us because her owners had abandoned her when they moved house

8.owner was no longer in a position where he could be cared for properly.

9.owners no longer had time for him

10.owners could no longer give him the time he needed

11.owner鈥檚 baby was allergic to him.

12.Dudu was surrendered because his owners are renting and aren't allowed pets.
Reply:honestly...I think most people would. they say no. but if the million was placed in their hands... the would not be able to turn it down! I know i would not. But then again, all my animals are spoiled... so i would use the millions to spoil the one that did not sell. and... I would offer the fish tanks off first... dogs and kittens need you more and they actually come and sit with you and enjoy the attention.!

So to answer... YES i would take the money ONLY for my fish. Dog and cat not for sale. and i would donate some of it for the shelters, but i would buy them things, like kennels... and leashes... and vaccines... and things they would need. KMR maybe more room so they can save more animals. things like that.

Reply:Yes, If I was 100% sure it would be well looked after and happy, and they were offering a considerable sum, have to be $50 000+ to start thinking about it, I would have to make myself feel better about it by donating some of the money to a charity to help some other animals though.
Reply:Not my dog or cat or pet goats. But I have a horse that we're trying to sell anyway. My mom wanted him but he turneed out to be more work than she expected. If we could sell him to a good home he and mom world be probably much happier.

Anyone in ohio want a horse?
Reply:As for one on my dogs - no way!!!!! He is an old guy and part of my family. It would break his heart. As for our young dog - no way! She was dumped on us and is a pain to the older dog. It would be better if she had found another home. If I had quickly found an appropriate home, I would have given her to that home, but now she is part of the family.
Reply:Nope, they couldn't print enough money for me to sell one of my dogs.
Reply:Absolutely not. That would be like asking me if I would sell one of my sons...........never.
Reply:Name your price.
Reply:NEVER
Reply:I WOULD NEVER!
