What is a good class pet hamster name?

It is one idea, with class pets, to consider the mascot or name of the school. In this case, the hamster will have the ultimate school spirit, which will ultimately reflect on the students, whatever their age. And with something to connect it to it will be easy to remember.

For example, I graduated from a school where the mascot was the Tigers. A class pet parakeet was named Tigger, his cage doned in green and gold decor, the school colors. He was a big hit with the students, and everyone knew who Tigger was. A small memorial service, conducted and planned by the students, was held when he died at the age of 8.

Reply:Well assuming you are teaching younger kids, it should be something that is cute/funny, possibly named after a character on a popular kids show and easy to remeber/pronunce. OR maybe you should let your students name it, take a class vote?

If not.......

Reply:I always like to give an animal a human name rather than something like fluffy. It shows that they are individual souls like us and are not objects!

I also have a Hamster and I named him Harry and think its a fab name for a hammie! Good luck and let me know what name you come up with.
