Does your spouse have a pet or love name for your unborn baby?

My hubby calls ours " Bundle Of Joy" He would say"how did BUNDLE OF JOY BEHAVE TODAY?" I think it's cute.

mine calls ours nena it's a Spanish term of endearment for a little girl =)
Reply:We've been calling ours Pooka since we found out we're expecting! Funny story--we were leaving the ER (I had been experiencing spotting and we ran to the hospital, then found out all was well) and there was a car in the parking lot with POOKA as the license plate. The name stuck!





We just found out this morning that little Pooka is a girl, so we'll probably be referring to her as Abbie a little more often now :)
Reply:Ok - it is not as "loving" but DH calls them Thing 1 %26amp; Thing 2 (from Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat) as we are expecting twins.





He even got us onesies - one says Thing 1 with the character from the book and the other says Thing 2. Both have Dr. Seuss across the back. Very cute.
Reply:yes, my hubby calls our unborn baby "monkey" because i always talk about how he kicks and stuff and that its a like a little monkey is bouncing around. with our daughter he called her "tater" cause the first ultrasound sound, he said she looked like a little potato

Reply:Mine calls our "peanut" he'll come home and ask peanut how he behaved that day, then if i say i felt really tired or sick he'll tell peanut to behave because he's got the next 18 years to aggrivate mommy and to take it slow...lol...its sooo freakin cute!
Reply:We are naming our little girl Isabelle so he calls her either Izzy or Belles when he is talking to her. Those will probably be her nicknames when she finally decides to meet the world.
